Preetam Singh Zinta

Preetam Singh Zinta is daughter of Durganand Zinta and Nilprabha Zinta. Durgananda Zinta had three children. They are Preetam Singh Zinta, Deepankar Zinta and Manish Zinta. Deepankar Zinta is the eldest son of Durganand Zinta.


Durganand Zinta was a military officer. He died in a car accident when Preetam Singh Zinta was hardly thirteen years old. Her mother Nilprabha Zinta also suffered injuries in the accident in which Durganand Zinta died. Nilprabha Zinta remained bed-ridden because of that accident.

Preetam Singh Zinta was born in Shimla. She was born on January 31, 1974. She studied in Convent of Jesus and Mary School, Shimla. She completed her degree in criminal psychology from St. Bedes College, Shimla.
