Lord Curzon Turning in his Grave

In India, the government has always taking U turns. They raise a body in order to correct a malady and then that body is dismantled because it is then considered as a malady in itself. The UGC had been under a scanner for a long time. The decisions taken by it had been hailed and then on a later date termed as the most unfortunate decision. The best example is the case of JRF/Lecturer Eligibility test which is called NET or UGC in general parlance, was first hailed as a rationalizing order and later it was dumped as the most unfortunate decision in order to favour the research scholars (those who have done PHDs. BTW how many of them get it instead of doing it themselves).
Then came CSIR and technical education regulatory bodies. I believe that recent addition was NAAC and Nation Knowledge Commission. Now, under the 100 days project (Is there something of Roosevelt 100 Days touch to it?), there are hints that these long standing bodies UGC and other Councils are being brought to dismantling stage. Lord Curzon's soul is not at rest.

उस का पिंड दान करवाना पड़ेगा | यह काम सरकार को ही करना चाहिए क्यूँ के -----!!!???
